Saint Louis University is a Catholic, Jesuit university ranked among the top research institutions in the U.S.. The University fosters the intellectual and character development of more than 13,000 students.

Founded in 1818, it is the oldest university west of the Mississippi and the second oldest Jesuit university in the United States. The following graduate programs are ranked in the top 50 in the nation for 2016: health law (No. 1), health care management (No. 7), international business (No. 15), supply chain management (No. 17), public health (No. 23), physician assistant (No. 27), part-time law (No. 31), physical therapy (No. 34) andoccupational therapy (No. 36).

Among the magazine’s undergraduate rankings for 2016, SLU was listed 96 out of 280 doctoral universities with individual rankings for top national business programs (No. 93), entrepreneurship (No. 7) and international business (No. 7). Additionally, SLU was ranked No. 20 as a “Best Colleges for Veterans” and made the “High School Counselor’s Picks” list.
